Javier Guiraldi
Born in Buenos Aires, the birthplace of tango, he began his artistic journey as a child through Argentine folk dances and tango, training with several prominent teachers. At just 17, he embarked on a career in teaching, combining dance with a growing and profound passion for music, which led him to his first steps as a DJ and later as a TDJ. Throughout his career, he has worked as a dancer, teacher, and TDJ in Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, France, Spain, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, bringing his experience and vision of tango to international contexts. He has lived in Reggio Calabria for over ten years, where he teaches classes, workshops, and holds milongas at the Fenix – ASD Nuova Fata Morgana headquarters, actively contributing to the dissemination and growth of tango culture in the area.
Saturday
from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Gaia - Malajunta
In the past, I've explored various artistic mediums, especially theater, film, and photography, but in recent years I've focused on tango, which has become both my research tool and my preferred means of expression. I believe it offers a dual opportunity: self-exploration through the experience of the body and relationships, and a means of communication, both through dance and musicalization. As a DJ, I've had the opportunity to perform at queer events like DeGenere, the Berlin Queer Tango Festival, Se dice de mi, and L’Isula Tango Queer, as well as at various milongas in Rome, Madrid, and Catania. In Catania, I co-founded the Le Tinte Gorgoni association, with which we created La Tinta milonga - feminist and queer (where I'm also the resident DJ) and, in collaboration with the Tango Queer Catania school, the L’Isula Tango Queer marathon. I'm interested in building and maintaining a good flow of energy throughout the evening, with a lot of tango from the golden age, but also trying to increase awareness and listening of women's music, which often doesn't find space in the milonga.
from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

I danced ballet, played piano and guitar, but... at 19, I entered my first Milonga: love at first sight, followed by a boundless love, which led me to dance and then to a deeper understanding of music, until I acquired a wonderful archive and a knowledge rich in ever-new inspiration.
from 1:00 to 5:00 a.m.
Antonella Scidà
I stumbled upon tango in 2008. It was love at first sight, or rather, at first listen, and I haven't stopped since. I started "infesting" milongas in 2008 and playing music in 2013. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity over the years to play music in so many different situations, from street tango to milonguero encounters, from marathons to my beloved Malquerida booth, never ceasing to be amazed and fall in love with this magnificent and multifaceted universe. They say I'm the undisputed queen of the march, but in reality my empire extends all the way to the trash cortina.
Sunday
from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Piter Garba
I became passionate about tango in 2009 when I took my first tango class, sparking a love and passion for tango music and its history. I am the organizer and co-organizer of numerous popular milongas within the Tango Popolare Roma circuit, including the Lunfarda, the Milonga dell'Utopia, the Affabulante Milonga, and the Kriminal Tango. These events include live performances by various Argentine orchestras: Tipica Misteriosa, Andariega, Sexteto Fantasma, El Cachivace, and many others. I have been performing throughout Italy since 2012, having been invited to various encounters and a marathon. I love all forms of tango because each period expresses a specific context and carries its own history. For dancing, I prefer a bit of the 1930s, especially the 1940s, and a touch of the 1950s. The great orchestras of the golden age are a must: D'Arienzo, Di Sarli, Troilo, Pugliese, but also Calò, Demare, Laurenz, Biagi, Donato, and many others. Here are some milongas I've attended as a tango DJ:
Kriminal Tango (Roma), Volver (Roma), Milonga dei Barbari (Roma), Il Cantiere (Roma), La Marinera (Roma), La Mastica (Roma), El Arranque (Roma),The Apartment Milonga, El Arrabal (Roma), Milonga Studio 51 (Roma), Milonga Portuense (Roma), La Divina (Roma), Lo Scrigno (Roma), La Cripta (Roma), La Bordona (Roma), Tango Sognato (Firenze), Picaflor (Venezia), Milonga Loca (Ferrara), La Milonguera (Perugia), Agua Florida (Isernia), Fraternidad Artesana (Teramo).
And again, Encuentros, rallies and marathons:
Rendez-Vous Milonguero (Bologna), De mil amores -Tango Marathon (Varsavia), Amor Roma (Roma), Hakuin (Siena), Gioia Mia (Perugia), Week end incantato a Narnia (Terni), Largo Encuentro (Porto Sant'Elpidio), Amardentro (Santa Margherita Ligure).
from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Simona Di Giuseppe
Simona started her Tango career in 2012 and, being also a great music lover, she was interested not only in the dancing characteristics, but she was also immediately fascinated by the musical tradition of Tango. In 2019, having reached a good awareness, she began her path as Tango DJ specializing and studying with Musicalizadores and enstablished Tango music connoisseurs such as Horacio Godoy and Mario Orlando. She is an energetic Tango Dj, with great sensitivity towards the Pista. Her selection is mainly based on the "Golden Age" of tango music. Her motto: "I always try to play music with the love, passion, and respect that a Milonguera has for Tango"
